Description
Mangrove monitors (Varanus indicus) are found from Australia to New Guinea, parts of Indonesia and the Solomon Islands. Like most monitors, mangroves are nervous captives and may take some time to tame down. Ideally, the cage should include multiple hiding spots to provide a sense of security and a large aquatic portion as they are active swimmers.
